Mold & Fungus Growth

September 12, 2011 by Disaster Restoration Singapore

Background

Mold will grow on any kind of porous substrate where high humidity prevails. High levels of exposure to mold in enclosed area can be detrimental to human health, especially where the micro-organic species residing in your environment is found to be pathogenic. Disaster Restoration Singapore has helped many clients resolve mold growth in their indoor environment by identifying the root cause of the problem and providing the solution to retard and control future mold growth and infestation.

Solutions Provided

The solutions we provided to our clients included the identification of the types of mold species, the thorough removal of the mold from the affected substrate and the application of an environmentally-friendly, non-leaching antimicrobial to retard future microbial growth. During our bio-decontamination process, air scrubbers were deployed to scrub the indoor air to remove and capture any viable and non-viable airborne spores.

Impact

We typically leave our clients with new-found knowledge and appreciation of mold problems in indoor environments and a mold and fungus-free property. They rest assured knowing that mold or fungus will not grow on their premises anymore due to our remediation and the application of the antimicrobial on all relevant surfaces.
