Excess water collected in the escalator shaft and damaged the escalator in a major bank’s premises due to the activation of a fire-emergency sprinkler. The bank wanted a quick and effective solution to prevent water damage problems caused by the excess water and any residual moisture.
We assessed the situation quickly, extracted all visible excess water and proceeded to remove all latent, residual and hidden water through the deployment of blowers, dryers and dehumidifiers.
The removal of water damage moisture from the site resulted in the prevention of corrosion of metals, malfunctioning of electrical components and even mechanical failure.
There was minimal disruption to the bank’s operations. The bank also saved on costly replacement parts and escalator repair bills.
